Who's looking out for you?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?  Hebrews 1:14

Do you ever feel like it's you against the world?  Like you're in the battle alone, and it's not going too well?

Today's verse is going to encourage you.  This treasure from the book of Hebrews is referring to angels.  It's talking about the role of angels, how Jesus takes preeminence over them.  Hallelujah that He is omnipotent!  But think  for a moment about this verse.  It's not the main point of the passage but what a glorious truth it contains!

The angels, over whom Jesus reigns, have a significant role.   In the life of a believer.  God sends them into the world to minister to His people, to render service on behalf of those whom  He has saved.

Let that percolate for a minute.

Heavenly beings, whom Psalm 103 tells us are mighty in strength, are dispatched by God (Ps. 103:20) to meet the needs of the saints!!!!!!!!!  That's what I'm talking about, girlfriends!

Times when we are fearful or lonely or discouraged. Times when we need practical help like a traffic light to change and enable our passage (legally...) or to locate a missing wallet. Times when we wonder which path to take or how we're gonna stretch limited resources.

Sometimes the ministering spirits show up in the form of precious humans who've been "prompted" to call or come or give.  And sometimes they just whisper in our ear or direct our steps...or close a door.  Whatever the service God deems needed, these heavenly beings render to those of us who inherit salvation. At His command. For those He calls His own.

So we are not alone.  We are not forsaken nor left to fight without help. Hang on, dear sister, hang on.  Help from the Throne has already been dispatched. They're looking out for us. And they have all the resources of Heaven at their disposal.
