prayer challenge - day 15

Pray that our children would “do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than themselves” Philippians 2:3

Wow. Let’s pray that not only for our children but also ourselves! Think about how our homes could be transformed if each one of us regarded the needs of others as more important than our own!

prayer challenge - day 14

Pray that you and your people would “dwell in the shelter of the Most High, abide in the shadow of the Almighty” so that you can “say to the Lord, ‘my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust!’ For it is He who delivers from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilencel He will cover you with His pinions and under His wings you may seek refuge. His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. You will not be afraid of the terror by night or of the arrow that flies by night or the pestilence that stalks in darkness or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you nor will any plague come near your tent For He will give His angels change concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Psalm 91:1-6, 9-11

prayer challenge - day 13

Relationships. Today let’s pray for the relationships in our lives.

Pray that you, your husband, and your children would “pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another” Romans 14:19

And “if therefore, you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother and then come and present your offering. “ Matthew 5:23,24

Wow. Relationships. Powerful. Priority.

And just one additional thought. You’ve been praying for several days now. It’s very likely that the Enemy has whispered once or twice to you -”this isn’t gonna do any good”. Well, don’t believe that lie. The Truth is that our prayers do result in good! Hebrews 6:6 says “And without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” My dear sisters, we demonstrate our faith - tho it be small or feeble - by the very act of our prayers! Coming to Him as we have been doing shows that we believe Him! We believe that HE IS and that He rewards those who seek Him!!! Be encouraged!

And if the enemy still plagues you with thoughts that your faith isn’t strong enough, then send him into retreat by proclaiming like the father of the desperately sick boy in Mark 8 - “I do believe…HELP MY UNBELIEF!”
